Using OpenTable?
Keep it.

OpenTable already reminds your guests the day before and on the day. GhostBookings is for the bookings that stay quiet: it picks out the ones worth chasing and gets an answer to your host in time to act.

What OpenTable does, and what GhostBookings adds

WHAT OPENTABLE ALREADY DOES

  • Reminders, the day before and on the daySent automatically, by text in the UK and by email, where guests can confirm. Source
  • Card holds and no-show feesThrough a connected payment account. Source
  • A waitlistGuests can ask to be told when a table frees up. Source

Keep using all of it. GhostBookings doesn’t replace any of these.

WHAT GHOSTBOOKINGS ADDS

  • Which bookings to chaseA score from party size, how far ahead it was booked and whether there’s a number to reach, so your team knows where to look first.
  • A direct questionFor the bookings that matter, a text or call asking for a YES or NO, in your restaurant’s name.
  • Answers at the host standReplies land on the service desk, so a cancellation becomes a table you can offer again.

HOW YOUR BOOKINGS WOULD REACH US

Checked first.
Promised second.

GhostBookings needs each new booking, change and cancellation as it happens. OpenTable connects outside services through its partner programme, and what’s available differs from account to account.

So we check yours before you sign up. If we can’t receive your bookings reliably, we’ll tell you, and you won’t pay for anything.

YOUR GUESTS’ DATA

OpenTable says your restaurant is the controller of the guest data in your OpenTable guestbook, with OpenTable as processor. Bookings made through OpenTable’s own sites and apps are also covered by OpenTable’s own terms. Source
