TRUST / HOW WE WORK
A guest is a person.
Not a score.
Useful intelligence must respect the relationship restaurants have built with their guests.
Our principlesBEFORE ANY OUTREACH
Control belongs
to your house.
Permission first.
No guest is contacted unless you choose it. Before any message is sent, the lawful basis, your venue policy and the guest's recorded permission for that channel are in place.
Quiet by design.
Low-concern bookings need no extra interruption. Quiet hours and an approval gate can keep contact considerate.
People decide.
The signal supports staff judgment. Release, cancellation, deposits and exceptions remain subject to venue rules and operator review.
Claims need evidence.
Scores start as a simple, transparent estimate. A trained model is used only once it has been tested on your own outcomes and you approve it. We make no claim about impact until outcomes have been measured.
DATA IN THE SERVICE
Only what the
service needs.
Booking details can include a guest's phone number and reservation information. Sensitive fields are removed from stored copies, and phone numbers and access keys can be encrypted. Each venue's staff see only that venue's bookings.
Your agreement sets out who holds the encryption keys, how long details are kept and when they are deleted. The AI Service Studio asks for venue-level information only, never guest details.
This page describes how GhostBookings handles guest data. It is not a certification or a substitute for your privacy agreement.
PRACTICAL QUESTIONS
What happens when
plans change?
Can a guest opt out?
Yes. Twilio opt-out events are captured in the contact permission record. Live outreach also needs tested sender and jurisdiction-specific messaging configuration.
Can the team override a decision?
Venue-scoped operators can confirm, monitor or release a booking. Their reason and action are recorded in the audit history.
Are AI drafts sent to guests?
No. The public studio only drafts examples. Guest contact runs through a separate, disabled-by-default delivery workflow.
Is this a production privacy notice?
No. GhostBookings is being set up venue by venue. Live service needs approved contractual terms, a complete privacy notice, retention schedule and security review.
